Manifesto

This blog is dedicated to the temporary street art seen in the forsaken bicycle frames that pepper this city.

The Forgotten Rides photo blog is my quest to document the scaffolds of desolate beauty left by these neglected metallic skeletons.

I know this is not the first slice of cyberspace to take notice and archive the abandoned bicycles of New York City, but I hope it to be a worthy, as well as an overflowing, one.
